You say, ‘What is there to prepare? The chlorine was the biggest problem… fish can’t handle it. So it made sense to me to let half of the water out, thus half the chlorine! No, no kidding, I needed to get rid of a lot of water so I would have more wall space for my paintings.
All of a sudden, there was a blood-curdling scream from my neighbor, ” What are you doing? You are flooding my yard. ” You are getting a small overflow; you should be thanking me. We have been in a drought here in Texas for over a year. “This isn’t right; it’s illegal. I am going to call the police,” And he walked away with his hands in the air, screaming. That’s what I’m going to do .” I haven’t seen him or the police since then. I hate that; he was a good neighbor.
Just when I thought I had the pool under control, we got 14 inches of rain in three days, which set me back to where I started. It’s a reminder that weather can throw a wrench in even the best plans,
It is now my weekly chore to read the chlorine and ammonia levels. Chat says I have to have zero chlorine!
